Get a name and a record

As of September 2026, Florida lets you check professional and pharmacy licence records through the Department of Health’s public search.

Compounding is the term for preparing a medicine to order. FDA, the Food and Drug Administration, says online patients may not know which business made their medicine.

Ask for that name before comparing a plan.

Can I ask my own questions?

The national medical boards’ guidance, adopted in May 2026, calls for patients to be able to raise follow-up questions.

That is guidance for boards, rather than a new Florida law.

Add the questions that matter to you. If an answer uses a term you do not know, ask for the meaning in plain words.
