Florida / care concerns
Where can I report a problem in Florida?
Start with what happened: a care concern, a facility issue, a product problem or a business dispute.

As of September 2026, complaints about Florida doctors, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists and pharmacies go to the Department of Health.
The ordinary complaint process is free and uses a written, signed complaint, online or on paper.
Keep the treatment plan, medicine label, messages and a clear account of what happened.
The Department can act on a licence, but it does not recover your fees or handle ordinary billing and refund disputes.
A facility or misleading-ad concern
As of September 2026, AHCA—the Agency for Health Care Administration—takes complaints about facilities it regulates and facilities operating without a required licence.
The Florida Attorney General’s consumer office accepts complaints about deceptive ads and unfair business practices.
Information sent through the Attorney General’s forms is generally a public record unless a state-law exemption applies.
Read the form’s privacy notice before including personal details.
A medicine problem
FDA means Food and Drug Administration.
MedWatch is FDA’s service for reporting problems with medicines and other medical products. As of September 2026, patients can send reports through its online form, linked below.
A report logs a concern; a report alone cannot show that the medicine caused the problem.
Include the exact product name and the facts of what happened. Keep a copy for the person treating you or pharmacist.
For an urgent health problem, use the urgent-help guidance before working on a complaint.
